Artist's Comments

Like the book! This was a fun fun experiment in watercolor. Makes me want to do more, because it only took me a couple of hours. I know now that the hudson class paid off--I can draw skulls in my sleep. o.0

She went - and Eugene, all emotion,
stood thunder-struck. In what wild round
of tempests, in what raging ocean
his heart was plunged!

Thank you. Watercolor forces me to be adventurous. ;)

:iconskipaway:
that's SO yummy!!

I love the hi-contrast and of course..SKULLZ!!1 You should experiment more (or post 'em) in between writing IY High School Experience *cough*!

Heh, the purple bleed looks like an evil jyaki...

"Sir, they could be infected."
"I'm about to infect you with the back of my hand!"
"But-"
"BACK. OF. THE. HAND."

Sure would be scary of you started drawing sculls in your sleep.

The colors are delicious, it looks very professional.

But death and his horse looks a little cheerful, methinks it makes them look nice, I want to play with them.
:iconwasurera:
Thank you!

And, uh, yeah I'm hard, hard at work on the next chapter... *cough*

Actually, for our Heads, Hands and Feet class (of which we only really got to heads) we were issued sculls at the beginning of class in return for $20. Our professor told us that we were to handle them at all times, and sleep with them so that they would be the last thing that we saw at night and the first thing we saw when we woke up.

Nuff said. *twitch*

Professional is something that I don't often pull off, so than you very much.

It's not my fault skulls grin--they always look happy to me, which is why they do look like drinking companions instead of harbingers of the end of all things. :o

That's just lovely, despite the subject (as skulls are rarely viewed as something "lovely").
But the colors are so strong and have such power in them! The texture of the paper shows through the color nicely, and what the heck... I just think skulls are cool.

Heheh. Lovely is what you make it. :o
Thank you! I think they're cool too, and it's rare that I draw skeletons.
